If her dance moves are any indication, Madonna will be rooting for the New York Giants on Sunday.
At a Thursday news conference for Super Bowl XLVI, Madonna said she was "inspired" by Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, who is known for celebrating his touchdowns by salsa dancing in the end zone. "I've been practicing my salsa moves," the halftime headliner told the crowd before busting out some moves on stage in front of the press. "Do you think he'd approve?"
Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Lenny Kravitz to perform at Super Bowl
Although she didn't say whether she'd break out the same routine on Sunday, she did offer a few teases about her 12-minute show. "I promise I will be singing three old songs and one new one," she said with a smile. Might the new tune be her first single, "Give Me All Your Love," from her upcoming album, MDNA? The single, conveniently, will be released on the radio Friday, just sayin'.
Something fans shouldn't expect from the show ? spoiler alert! ? is any Janet Jackson-like incident. "Great attention to detail has been paid to my wardrobe. There will be no wardrobe malfunctions," Madonna said. "Promise."
