Mayor Michael Pizzi said a emergency meeting was held 24 hours after the incident.
Pizzi was at Main Street for the 3rd time since the incident and called it a "safe environment."
"Strict enforcement of the curfew and the overwhelming off-duty police presence ensures that this isolated incident will not occur again," said Pizzi.
An 8 p.m. curfew started Friday along Main Street after the incident.?
On Christmas night, messages posted on Twitter and Facebook urged teens to meet up at the normally quiet shopping and dining area. According to the first responding police officer, 3,000 to 5,000 young people were running through Main Street and also gathered outside the movie theater.?
